The ACC Advisory Board

The Anti-Corruption Commission Act of 2008 provides for an Advisory Board consisting of seven members.

In keeping with the Act, “the Advisory Board on corruption shall, in addition to any other function advice the Commission on any aspect of the mandate and functions of the Commission and annually assess the work of the Commission and advise the Commission on it.

The ACC Advisory Board Members have all been appointed from among persons representing civil society, professional bodies, religious organizations, educational institutions, chieftaincy institutions and the media.

The board members are:

Shiek Abubakarr Conteh is a highly respected Muslim Cleric and senior Lecturer at the Freetown Teachers College

Mrs. Marie Bob Kandeh is a renowned civil society activist and a business woman

Theo Nicole- is a Journalist and the Managing Director of Choice Media Consultant

Mr. Abasse Thomas is a Retired Senior Bank Manager

P.C. Madam Haja Fatmata B. Kajue is the Paramount Chief of Mano Dasse Chiefdom, Moyamba District

Haja Hawa Turay- is presently the Executive Director and Founder of HAIKAL Organisation which cater for the empowerment of youths, it provides health, education and agricultural Training
