ANTI - CORRUPTION COMMISSION CATHEDRAL HOUSE 3 GLOUCESTER STREET FREETOWN SIERRA LEONE, WEST AFRICA 18 th October, 2018 PRESS RELEASE ACC SECURES CONVICTION IN BO The High Court Holden at Bo presided over by the Honourable Justice Unisa Kamara on Thursday 1 8th October 2018 sentenced Solomon Mitchell Kamara to a fine of Thirty Mil lion Leones ( LE 30,000,000) or a three - year jail term . The convict was Bursar of the Milton Comprehensive Secondary School in Bo. Mitchell was convicted on three count s of misappropriation of public funds contrary to section 36 of the Anti - Corruption Act 2008 , after pleading guilty to all three counts . It could be recalled that , on diverse dates , whilst s erving as b ursar of the school , Mitchell was collecting th e salary of a deceased teacher. The court also ordered restitution of monies collected to be pai d into the consolidated revenue fund . The ACC was represented by N . B .
