Fatu Florence Kamara is a seasoned public sector professional with over a decade of experience in asset declaration compliance, anti-corruption enforcement, and public sector reform in Sierra Leone.
Mrs Kamara joined the Commission in 2013 as an Asset Officer, where she played a key role in educating public officials on asset declaration requirements and analyzing disclosures to ensure compliance. She also contributed to strengthening the MDA database system to support enforcement efforts.
In 2022, she was promoted to Senior Asset Officer, leading nationwide training and capacity-building initiatives on the online asset declaration system. She successfully conducted regional workshops and supported public officials in accurately declaring their assets, income, and liabilities, significantly enhancing compliance levels.
In 2023, Mrs Kamra was appointed Regional Manager for the Northwest Region, with oversight of operations in Port Loko, Kambia, and Karene Districts. She supervised multidisciplinary teams across Investigations, Administration, and Public Education, driving improved coordination, operational efficiency, and stakeholder engagement.
On April 1, 2025, she was promoted to Regional Director for the Northeast Region, a senior leadership role with expanded operational scope. She currently oversees four functional units and leads a team of fourteen staff. Under her leadership, public education initiatives have been significantly strengthened, including the establishment of Integrity Management Committees (IMCs) at the chiefdom level, enhancing grassroots anti-corruption awareness and accountability. She also contributes to regional intelligence and security coordination through active participation in the Provincial Security Committee (PROSEC).
Prior to joining the ACC, Fatu worked with the Sierra Leone Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SLIEPA), where she was among the early contributors to the development of local content initiatives.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Knowledge Management from Fourah Bay College (FBC) and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM).
Mrs Kamara is married with three children.
