ANTI-CORRUPTION COMMISSION INTEGRITY HOUSE TOWER HILL, FREETOWN SIERRA LEONE, WEST AFRICA Ref:ACC/PR/25/12 21 st October 2025 PRESS RELEASE ACC INDICTS CHRISTIAN BENJAMIN KARJUE AND IBRAHIM JANNEH FOR MISAPPROPRIATION OF FREE HEALTH CARE MEDICAL SUPPLIES MEANT FOR THE KOIDU GOVERNMENT HOSPITAL The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) wishes to inform the general public that it has filed an indictment at the High Court of Sierra Leone, Holden at Kono, against CHRISTIAN BENJAMIN KARJUE, Head Store Keeper at the Koidu Government Hospital and of Samandu Area in Koidu, and IBRAHIM JANNEH, Cleaner at the Koidu Government Hospital and of Gbetuwa Street in Sinnah Town, Koidu, Kono District CHRISTIAN BENJAMIN KARJUE AND IBRAHIM JANNEH are indicted on ONE (1) Count of Conspiracy to Commit a Corruption Offence, contrary to Section 128 (1) and ONE (1) Count of Misappropriation of Public Property, contrary to Section 36 (1) of the Anti- Corruption Act No. 12 of 2008 as amended by the Anti-Corruption (Amendment) Act No. 9 of 2019. According to the particulars of the offences, on an unknown date between the 10 th and 18 th day of April 2025, in Koidu, CHRISTIAN BENJAMIN KARJUE and IBRAHIM JANNEH, together with other unknown persons, conspired to willfully misappropriate THIRTEEN (13) CARTONS of ASSORTED MEDICAL SUPPLIES intended for the FREE HEALTH CARE PROGRAMME at the Koidu Government Hospital .
